#New_Delhi is considering joining #European projects such as #Tempest or #FCAS. The decision is based on its 2018 experience, when #India withdrew from a joint program with #Russia due to the aircraft not meeting requirements.
#India is currently focusing on its own #AMCA project and the purchase of #French_Rafale jets. Investments in a sixth-generation program could reach €12.5–16.5 billion, making the #Su_57 economically and technologically less viable.
According to experts, such a move could significantly weaken #Russia’s position in the global arms market.
