#Chloé_Zhao is inviting people to join her for a virtual cup of tea to support the organization #Animal_Rescue_Kharkiv, which evacuates animals and saves their lives. Anyone who wants to talk with her can participate in an auction. The highest bidder will get a one-hour #Zoom conversation.
The auction has already started and will run until March 28. Bids can be placed online, and all proceeds will go toward supporting the volunteer organization.
#Animal_Rescue_Kharkiv was founded in 2016. Initially, volunteers rescued animals only from #Kharkiv and nearby areas, but after the start of the full-scale invasion, they expanded their efforts to evacuate animals from regions like #Donetsk and #Sumy.
Volunteers also traveled to #Kherson during the flooding caused by the #Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant disaster, responding to requests from local residents and the military.
