So I did not install #wanderer onto my selhosted stack as initially planned, but instead another very cool service: RomM

A place to organize ROMs for #emulation and even play them in integrated emulators in the browser.
Even better: There is a #decky plugin for the #steamdeck to sync all save-files and load ROMs directly from my server into retrodeck! So cool!

The RomM Project

RomM is a self-hosted rom manager for your game collection.

@chrizzly_astrocg Ooh.. does that Decky Loader plug-in let you pick which games show up in the Game Mode UI? Or are all 5,000+ of my ROMs going to clutter it up?
@RxBrad no the plugin is actually quite smart. You can choose which part of your library you want to sync:
Select by console (e.g. only N64) or by collection (which you set manually in RomM). Pretty versatile!
I'm still in the testing phase though
@chrizzly_astrocg Gotcha... Sounds like I might be installing RomM and setting up a "Steam Deck Collection" in it then...
