> Lanzado en 2018, el Círculo de Donaciones de Trabajadores Sexuales (SWGC, por sus siglas en inglés), es el primer fondo liderado por trabajadores sexuales alojado en una fundación de EE. UU. Les becaries que son trabajadores sexuales actuales o pasades lideran el proceso de concesión de subvenciones, otorgando subvenciones multianuales para apoyo general a organizaciones lideradas por trabajadores sexuales alrededor del país. Nos adaptamos durante la pandemia de COVID-19 con cohortes virtuales y nacionales para becaries, y continuamos creciendo. Para 2025, guiades por un equipo y junta asesora de becaries pasades, el Círculo de Donaciones de Trabajadores Sexuales ha otorgado más de $3.9 millones de dólares a socies beneficiaries nueves y recurrentes.

La situación de lꜵs trabajadoræs sexuales en EEUU… no es buena, digamos; incluso ignorando los flagrantes ataques a personas migrantes, trans, pobres (las tres poblaciones con fuerte presencia en el trabajo sexual), o incluso a mujeres en general (que son la mayoría de TSes…).

Sex Worker Giving Circle, from Third Wave Fund.

> Launched in 2018, the Sex Worker Giving Circle is the first sex worker-led fund housed at a U.S.-based foundation. Fellows who are current and former sex workers lead the grantmaking process, awarding multi-year, general support grants to sex worker-led organizations nationwide. We adapted during the COVID-19 pandemic with virtual and national Fellow cohorts, and continued to grow. By 2025, guided by a team and advisory board of former Fellows, the Sex Worker Giving Circle has awarded more than $3.9 million dollars to new and returning grantee partners.

Sex workers over at the USA… aren't having it easy, to say the least; even ignoring the blatant attacks against migrant, trans, or poor people (all of which share a significant overlap with sex workers), and even against women in general (which most sex workers are).
Also ignoring as well that selling sex to survive is ridiculously still made a crime in most of the country ('cause getting paid for sex is the same as stabbing somebody, no doubt about it… 🙄 sigh), and the few exceptions aren't all that better either.
