Maarten@__ic I don’t know that it’s much more than coincidence. If I had yo guess: Musk comes from the tech world, where people are commonly referred to by their first name. Trump comes from the business world. But there was a time when he was often referred to as The Donald.
@thinkling Thank you! That may be why! A quick test seems consistent with tech names like Altman, and business names like Bezos. Thinking more about it the divide could also be a Silicon Valley tradition, or a generational trait?
