Since the bicycle got a flat rear tire, with no spare parts available within a radius of several hundred kilometers, I had to change to a more classic form of transportation in Borneo, the universal Honda Super Cub. It was really fun to ride it along the logging roads, until I had a flat rear tire again. But I could get that fixed in the village in less than an hour.
I came to the conclusion that it may have something to do with my riding style, not the material....
