When I started on #Mastodon I just posted some sentences about what I had in mind. Then I learned about #Genuary at the beginning of 2023 in this community and joined it, posted the results and interacted a lot with others, with you.

Now, three years later, I shared my progress in #Sculpting with #Blender, the #Inktober drawings and the Genuary 2026.

And now for the first time I share my creations regulary since February instead of collecting the on my drive and showing them only my family and friends.

It's amazing. Kind and often very detailed feedback, questions and thoughts.

And now 150 of you genious minds and friendly companions are following my art!

It wasn't my goal to gain followers at any time but it is always nice to see that I'm going a path that I love and you, too.

So: THANK YOU!

That is a wonderful way to connect with others 🖤🤍 Congratulations... I look forward to seeing more for sure!

@KeraDamo Thank you. So, let's connect more! :)

You have 199 followers with just about 200 posts. What do you make better? Is it the instance?

I did not notice the 200 posts, that sounds like a lot, holy... it is all hand-made (accept the 2 Genuary works, these are brain-coded, haha) 🙏

I don't do anything better. It took me time to land in the fediverse, but I do pay extra attention to reaching out to people and have a conversation, showing my appreciation when I see art that inspires me. It can really be a muted room where nobody is talking, but that is an N=1 observation. I have a few theories on that, but that would be making assumptions.

@KeraDamo Wow, interesting. Now I am curious about your theories. Haha. But too much for here maybe?

Yes, I talk not too much here. On one hand because of the time effort, on the other I prefer spending my time in art than in chatting.

But I try to talk a litte more. Maybe about the creations I feel really impressive.

I use only my own code and my own hand for the creations. I really do not like AI. The influence on the people and using it for myself.
There are areas it's interesting but only local, offline and trained with your own data and not those of others without asking them.

Have a wonderful Sunday!

@[email protected] I could write a book about social media. Maybe next time 😋 It is good to foster offline experiences over that of online.

AI is a definition thing 'cause I still believe it is rule-based and a randomiser, rather than intelligent. But yes, I understand where you come from. It is not the ML that is the problem, but the theft.

I hope that someday I can build a local model based on my own work, if time is granted. It looks like I could learn a lot from you 👍

Have a great week 🌞

@KeraDamo We can learn from each other.

In Python and in js I wrote a basic NN and used it for simple computer players in games. It's complex but managable.

For images I feel that the math functions have so many possibilites and combinations that I won't need NN or Static Defusion to create anything.

But back to social media. :)
Are the two or three points of your theory you can share? And I mean share, not chair or Cher. Uh, just a poor joke. :D
