The #BattleOfKarameh was fought #ThisDayInHistory in 1968 between Israel and Jordan & PLO. #PLO had used Jordan to stage raids, and Israel thought #Jordan would let it retaliate. Israel lost 33 troops, Jordan twice that, but Israel's loss of tanks & equipment there was a warning.
