I have posted about this before, but seriously, what sort of magic sauce is in these cells in this pack?

After sitting on a shelf all winter long, this 9 1/2 year old battery mowed my entire 3000 ft.² front yard of overgrown spring weeds and still had power left when I was done.

@RockyC 9 and a half years?? That's insane longevity. What brand is it? My batteries barely survive 3 seasons.

@dairylea That’s the original battery that came with my Ego 21” lawn mower. Ego’s marketing boasted of a battery life of 10 years, but I never believed it until now.

@RockyC Ego makes solid stuff. 10 years on the original battery is wild — most companies would be thrilled if theirs lasted 3. Sounds like their marketing team actually undersold it for once!
