THE SUSPENSION — notes held past their harmonic context. Time freezes. Harmony shifts beneath but voices cling to where they were.

Eb major → Ab → Cb → chromatic dissolution. Each instrument holds suspended notes that never resolve. The piece ends mid-suspension.
