Earlier today, I was asked to comment on the current state of disaster preparedness in the United States.
That was already a fraught question, even prior present chaos, but then I saw today's headlines. ðŸ«

They all have that fun combo of insanity and lack of self awareness, arrogance or maybe just being stupid enough to talk about it.
I have known people this crazy, who have pretty normal lives and just 'believe in' an assortment of conspiracy theories etc. However, they usually realise that their beliefs are odd, so that they generally don't talk about them publicly.
@GutterPoetry one wonders how he thought revealing that would go?
