I dont do critical successes or failures. Your build will win on its own or perish.
Natural 2 wouldn’t be a critical failure in D&D, anyway. Probably rolled low on a spell save, not sure D&D even has critical failures for those.
They rolled nat 20s, critical hits
Oh wow, I must have been really tired to read that as “natural 2’s” …

Tank: Behold my impenetrable armor! None can hurt me!

Enemy: *ignores tank and stabs wizard and cleric wandering around in glorified bathrobes*

Tank: I didn’t mean you weren’t supposed to try!

If your Cleric is in glorified bathrobes that’s on them

Yeah, my war cleric has more ac than my fighter. I prefer the healy boy doesnt die on me while i’m getting stabbed. I can’t cast true resurrection, he can.
“32 AC? Oh that’s cool. Hey, have you heard of Spell Saves?”

There’s a 0.25% chance of two consecutive 20s being rolled. This is likely to happen ~1/400 attacks.

The lesson? Don’t fight swarms of anything if rules enable baddies to crit you.

Yesterday i was that fighter but reversed. I rolled 5 nat 1s in a row. Action surge wasted makes for a sad orc.
