@Luke gorgeous! I love your share cards too - remind me of collectible trading cards
@alpower oh, thank you! I think it was to mimic playing cards with the flipped numerals and aspect ratio but I stopped plenty short of that full effect.
@Luke I love the 021C. It really holds up well. That trunk drawer!
@glass it’s very satisfying, innit? What’s your favorite auto/vehicle/industrial design?

@Luke I add favorites to this page (funny enough, the lede image will look familiar). I like chonky slabs.

Vehicles

My old site had a page with favorite vehicles, and now it is time to do it again. Let's start with the Ford 012C concept above, designed by Marc Newson. It had analog gauges, suicide doors and a drawer for a trunk. Also? Named after a vibrant Pantone orange. So. Much. Goodness. Next up? This...

Chris Glass

@glass HA! Perfect. I see the trend. Here's another orange auto post of mine: https://lukedorny.com/updates/yes-van

Also: I love the idea of posting similar things to one page like this!

Yes Van

Updates: Yes, it’s cool — no, I’m not going to paint it

@glass @Luke God it’s so damn cute. Why can’t we have nice things????
@AnthonyBaker @glass Newson and Mays are such great designers. And anyone could be, but nurture nature time and place and everything else are real things.
The Designers’ Journey is a real topic.
