I am trying to get more comfortable with the #CLI.  Tinkering around with the #RpiZ2w is making it fun and keeps the stakes low if I mess up.

Currently I have #Tmux, #MidnightCommander, #Pyradio, #Hyfetch, #Btop and more installed.  If you know of other fun #TUI based programs (that do not need a lot of compiling power), holler at yo boi!

@jlw_the_jobber Nice! Take a look at newsboat for reading RSS feeds in the #cli

Have you got into #tmux windows? pro-tip: ctrl-b z will zoom your window when you need more space ;-)

@knasman I am running Tmux on a headless raspberry pi zero that using Debian. I ssh into the RPi via my Fedora pc.

I did install Newsboat. I have used it in the past. The hard part, for me, is finding only text based blogs.
@jlw_the_jobber Goodness. I use it with all sorts of blogs every day. Wired, Scientific American, Ars Technica, WordPress blogs. I do use it in a terminal on a GUI desktop so I can launch into a GUI web browser if I need full articles or pictures. Give it another try.
@jlw_the_jobber My current list
@knasman Thank you for sharing! My mind was going blank.
@jlw_the_jobber @knasman You can bind #rdrview to extract text from any feed entry.
@jlw_the_jobber Off the top of my head, #chawan (browser with sixel support), #hygg (epub reader), #tut(mastodon client), #newsraft (my choice over newsboat), #rdrview(firefox reader view), #reader (mrusme's rdrview alternstive, sixel support), #nnn or #yazi (file managers), #cmus (music player)
@nikolasdi @jlw_the_jobber My choice would be #chawan (browser) #hygg (epub reader) #tut (mastodon) #newsboat (news reader) #ncmpcpp (music player) and #ranger (file manager)
@jlw_the_jobber Let me add here #bibiman, if you want to manage biblatex databases (citations).
