This is a miracle. Cody has become quite reactive after being attacked by a pitbull last year. We enrolled him in scent training classes, and he's sitting next to five other dogs. But he's so excited about training, that he is relaxed and calmly waiting his turn to go search for scents. So proud of him! #dogs #Dog #Dogsofmastodon #DogTraining

I love how dogs understand that sometimes they have to wait for it to be their turn ❤️❤️❤️

If we only have one 🎾 to hand, we’ll play “Tig’s turn: Freddie’s turn” and they each understand not to chase the 🎾 until it’s their turn ❤️

Dogs are so much smarter than we are! I love that they are willing to live with us and teach us. 😅
@caban4 I’m very glad to hear that for you! I’ve seen similar results in the last few months as I’m teaching Nose Work classes: dogs come in with big feelings, and once they understand the game, they get so focused that it regulates their emotions and behavior.

It's true!! This may be the job he needs. We've done scent training in the house for a few years, but the competition aspect seems to transfix him.
@caban4 scent training is awesome!
@disisdeguey
He has enjoyed it so much! We're trying to figure out what to do next to boost his confidence. He can do the intermediate class or start rally.
@caban4 cute lil crossed paws!
@Betty
That's an Aussie trait, and I think it's adorable! 😊
