[P] On a lighter note, I thought the 16-bit console wars were silly. I mean, both consoles did things very differently. It's an apples to oranges comparison. I preferred the Mega Drive because SEGA took indie devs under their wing that Nintendo turned their nose up at. This meant that Nintendo's offerings were highly pokished, big budget affairs whereas SEGA's were experimental and really weird. I liked the latter better. That, for me, was the diff.

[P] All of this was swishing about in my brain bucket because of Pickmon, which seems to be designed to teoll Nintendo and its fans. And I just remembered a childhood memory where I casually aaid "SEGA does what Nintendon't" because that's a funny troll. And it resulted in a Nintendo fan threatening to poison my food with anthrax. This was a kid, yes. Ninty fans have always been crazy, just in case youngers believe this to be a failing of modernity.
