Without a miracle, it looks like my shop's journey is coming to an end. Spent a little too much time with an attorney and an accountant today, and after a few silver linings earlier in the week appeared, I'm feeling extra fucked now.

@JasonTrue that's really sad, more so because Japan needs the type of shop you had.

I doubt this makes you feel better, but... it came down to a money thing, and money is fickle

@codebyjeff Yes, I think of it as a very expensive lesson. And one that had a pretty disastrous effect on my physical and mental condition, beyond the financial impact, but it's at least theoretically possible to recover. I'm just going to be incredibly down until I find an alternative path forward.
