Re-watching Constantine. I don't think I've seen it since 2006. I do remember liking it more than most did. Tilda Swinton channeling David Bowie may have helped.
Rachel Weisz has a 12" Powerbook G4. #Constantine

Oh my god that was a Jay and silent Bob reference. 😆 (John to Chaz right after the Beeman scene. Also, Max Baker - knew who it was the moment he opened his mouth.)

#Constantine

Tilda Swinton It's so incredibly sexy in this. #Constantine
Djimon Hounsou, that for no one, including me, knew who he was yet.

Doors doors doors doors

In the very start of the movie it's made clear that doors are a theme. I love this bit (Watch the cartoon).

Constantine's apartment is a shithole and I love it. #Constantine
@tankgrrl it's "movie shithole" though - aspirational shithole; enormous, huge numbers of small windows, and a layout that's effectively a section of cloister.
@metaning Yeah I mean that's why I love it. It's the shithole you wish you had. :)
Stormare. You love to see him. 👹

@tankgrrl if you’ve never seen them you gotta check out his American vw commercials from the early 2000. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pWMpHc77qNI&pp=ygUJVW5waW1wIHZ3
Volkswagen: Un-pimp Your Ride, compilation.

@bnys Oh my God I forgot all about that!!! 🤣
Man, i hope this sequel gets made. :)
#Constantine
@tankgrrl it was good, was better than people give it credit for
@autolycos @tankgrrl yeah. It’s good. Hope Keanu gets his wish for a sequel
@jonathankoren @autolycos Me too, the idea of John wick-era Keanu is just too perfect for Constantine.

@tankgrrl @autolycos I have not seen a single John Wick movie, even though I’m pretty sure I’d enjoy the hell out of them

Bonus Fact: I have seen only one of the Fast and Furious movies. It was…
🥁🥁🥁
Tokyo Drift

@jonathankoren @tankgrrl there needs to be a Point Break sequel
@autolycos @tankgrrl “Two Point Break”
@jonathankoren @tankgrrl Point Break 2, Ever Given Drift

@autolycos @tankgrrl Hollywood likes making sequels to beloved movies that didn't need sequels, and this week we learned they love double roles. So with that in mind, I propose:

BREAKFAST -- The Speed / Point Break crossover we never knew we wanted!

@jonathankoren @autolycos You have seen one too many fast and furious and three too few John Wicks. 😄
@tankgrrl Genuinely one of my favorite movies of all time.
@tankgrrl I missed it. Looks interesting.
@tankgrrl radically under-appreciated film. Peter Stormare's Lucifer is a highlight.

@tankgrrl I think it's gotten a reputation as a cult hit at this point.

I warmed up to it once I stopped expecting it to be anything like the comic.

@tankgrrl That movie was far better than it gets credit for. It definitely needs to be in the discussion when talking about the best DC Comics movies.
