What may happen if I use the drive to do a lot of IOPS in a almost server like environment?

Well it just die an early death in a few months?

@Radio_Azureus it'll be fine for long term storage. isn't going to last like a samsung non-qlc. compare it to a cheap sandisk.

Thank you for your reaction. I considered the drive because I can still find it for the old price before the LLM price explosion.

@Radio_Azureus I won't be buying any drive with merely a 3-year warranty again, after this recent, painful episode:

BTRFS scrubbing is indispensable, I say

I’ve had to abandon a backup drive, where a strange thing happened. After extensive testing, narrowing down where the problem was, an “fsck.ext4 -a” couldn’t detect a subtle, depeer issue. To detect the issue was brutally difficult, because the drive also got clean bill of health from “smartctl”. I reformatted it to BTRFS, to afford me scrubbing. It was only during a scrub that I could see the deeper issue - a massive slowdown in scrub speed partway through the scrub.
