@davidaugust @Dialectician Wasn’t it Churchill who said something along the lines that you can always trust Americans to do the right thing once they have exhausted all other options … or something along those lines anyway. These seem to be different times though.

@davidaugust @donhawkins Like the British, Austrian German and Turkish people of their respective Empires were people for better or worse? I have hope that the American people being as diverse as they are can change course; dying cats don’t bounce and Empires are rapidly reaching their unsustainable limits. The non renewable control of resources to benefit a shrinking few oligarchs, plutocrats, greedy investors and authoritarian clowns has no future. #EndOfEthnoEmpires #RiseOfTheFederation
