Once upon a time I achieved a 2341 rating for #daily #chess, the modern equivalent of correspondence chess. I had lost some of my edge already, maybe it slipped just below #master, but a major life disruption caused me to time out of dozens of games and my #rating went into the #abyss.

Experience tells me that if you can consistently see five moves clearly, and you can see it reasonably quickly, you're at least an #IM. If you always see three moves clearly, you can achieve #Master with good study. #Endings. I've adopted the #Carlsen technique. I am #practical.
