#CarrollCountyCourthouseMassacre was on #ThisDayInHistory in 1886. A white man, angry that a friend had molasses spilt accidentally on him by two Black brothers, shot & wounded them. When the brothers pressed charges, a #LynchMob stormed the court, killing 23 Black people.
