Jason Parker (he/they)#HashTagGames folks, I have a small request. Put the two hashtags at the bottom of your post, on a single line by themselves. Mastodon improves the display of them.
@paul @hashtaggames Do you think you'd be able to adjust root posts to add the hashtags at the bottom by themselves like this (parent post), or encourage it, or something? It looks so much nicer on Mastodon.
Paul Chambers🚧@north No offense, but I despise those. I intentionally put a period or other character after the ending hashtag to break those boxes and make them inline text links. #HashTagGames .
Edit to add my personal reasons for absolute disgust for the hashtag boxes at the tail-end of Mastodon posts:
I want my hashtags, esp in the game posts, and prefer in the game plays by users, to be part of the content and not part of the UI or navigation.
Speaking about Mastodon design, if you use so many, hashtags are hidden behind a "more button" down in the hashtag box row. It looks like they are bent on this box/button as a design choice because PRs for 4.6 has more of it coming. Looks like in one PR they are even going to use it in the profiles of users and even collapse certain elements of profile text behind a "read more."
