1. Had the day off work, because we needed a new chimney cap (old one blew off during a storm). Cold, windy weather put the kibosh on the installation, but got a lot done around the house.

@kerravonsen I have not had a chance to try it yet, but the new features and bug fixes look promising. Vector layers and more type options are the ones I am most eager to put through their paces.

I have been putting off changing to 3 because (a) missing plugins and (b) I dread the amount of new stuff I'll have to learn and old habits I'll have to un-learn.
