One of them is definitely the Wirrn from #DoctorWho Ark in Space (1975). It might just have been just bubble wrap and green paint but it scared the shit out of me as a child.

The body horror theme continued in John Paton's Proteus (1979) which is the most terrifying book that I ever read. Sadly out of print but preserved in the Internet Archive https://archive.org/details/proteus0000pato
