@neauoire @gustav Hmm, hard to see, but looks like the final break is on the outside top, putting the origin on the inside. Yeah, definitely, you can see where it elongated before breaking.
If the origin was on the outside, I'd say you scratched it when installing. A small slip of the wrench can be enough.
But the final break is on the outside, so more likely fatigue. Most likely cause is a too slack rig. Did your leeward shrouds go slack when powered up? They shouldn't.
You might see more when you open the swageless fitting and get a good look at the broken strands ends. Probably beaching, like this: https://reliability.com/resources/articles/name-that-failure-3/
