Having a bit of a conundrum around running @tailscale on #proxmox

Because tailscale modifies /etc/resolv.conf so you get their "Magic DNS", when LXC containers are created, the default behavior is to inherit the host's DNS.

You can run Tailscale inside an LXC container if you pass through the /net/tun device, but that's not going to help things like the ProxMox VE Helper Scripts @technotim recommded do their thing.

Yeah I ran into the same problem so I elected to create a full blown VMWare ESXi host instead, using Armbian Linux- it has worked ever since

Aaaaand now the #Ubuntu 24.04.4 server installer kernel panics when it gets to where it asks you for username, servername, etc.

I'm sure a .5 will come out soon but... Disappointing.

Or maybe it's my machine? I hope to heck not. It's only a few months old i9 from #beelink which I've had outstanding luck with thus far.

Guess I'll try 25.10 - tomorrow :)
