#Authors, I don't know if Ingram Spark's opt out of them selling your paperback's to ai companies form was shared on here in early Feb, so I'm posting it now, having come across it on discord again.

(No, it doesn't specify 'gen ai' or 'LLMs', the form just says 'ai.')

And yes, this impacts you if you distribute your books directly with Ingram Spark, or via KDP expanded distribution, or Draft to Digital (print books).

@ElisesWritings - I noticed that the form apparently only covers _physical_ copies -- WTF? -- and that you have to do something else to get them not to sell the digital copies that would be more useful to AI companies.
@ssavitzky that's correct. My ebooks have always been through Draft to Digital, as I heard Ingram have never been a good option for that.
@ElisesWritings When it says 'Publisher/Seller Name' what is it looking for? KDP? Draft2Digital? Independent? My legal name? There's, like, no notes on this πŸ˜
