I hate installing apps on my phone and seeing ads online. When I use Facebook on my phone, it’s a special version I hacked to run in Firefox with various addons. I trick the site into thinking my mobile browser is Chrome Desktop, remove ads with FB Purity via Greasemonkey, and fix display bugs using Stylus. This took some effort, but it keeps the FB app and its ads off my phone. Also… I may be slightly out of my mind.
