@petergleick Don't fixate on the fuels and lubricants. Think of the Indian farmers who will have no fertilizers this planting season. The shortages of pharmaceuticals, the lack of medical plastics (teeth, hip replacements etc), the industrial feedstocks, all of which are subsidized by the automotive industry's need for fuels and lubricants.
