@yawning_angel @RobSmithDev This is awesome! I can't wait to watch this.
I was a huge user of Klik and Play and Multi Media Fusion. I never got a copy of STOS but I always dreamed of making something with it on my Atari STe.
It wasn't until years later that I learned who François Lionet was and just how many products I used or wanted that were developed by him.
Dude is an absolute legend!
@yawning_angel @RobSmithDev Thanks for the excellent video, François is such a great personality!
Spent quite a few nights and weekends with the marvels that were #AMOS and AMOS Pro, as well as gems like #OctaMED and #DeluxePaint. Good times!
@yawning_angel @RobSmithDev @Judeau Cool. I once met him during an Amiga game developers weekend in Belgium in 1993.
Wrote a diary of that for the only Dutch paper Amiga magazine at the time. 🙂
You can see him on page 63…

@yawning_angel @RobSmithDev this was a really good video, I proper enjoyed it
AMOS (and STOS before hand) were both really good environments - and although they're targetted as "games creators", they're not limited to that, and I found that I created many little utilities to make life working with a single drive A500+ and 1MB more bareable - and the AMOS Pro coverdisk (AF67a) was where it all started for me.
