4 #Democrats blithely voted NO to limit #Trump. Had they voted YES, the #WarPowers resolution would have passed.

so, in other words, "nuh uh" ? You can't just say "nuh uh" and expect to get anywhere.

Anyway, Congresscritters do get together and discuss how they are going to vote. Standard practice is the party says "we need x votes for this thing that'll make our donors happy but piss off our voters, who can afford to take a PR hit right now without getting voted off."

incidentally, this is in fact a "both sides" move. It is so commonly done that it is perfectly likely that these 4 Dems do, in fact, represent the party.

Until I see the rest of them up in arms about it and attacking those 4 instead of generic "aw shucks we tried" bullshit, I'm not going to be surprised either way

I have no idea how much the GOP pays leftists to promote this nonsense. The Democrats passed Obamacare, free meals for hungry schoolkids, the infrastructure act, healthcare subsidies, etc...
