🐉🥚🐉 Fighting Dragons of Ara and the Dragons Egg

This is (you guessed it!) a star forming region in the Milky Way. Hot young things pump out ultraviolet light, which makes the gas around them glow and dark sooty dust shrouds some of that gas.

Towards the bottom sits a giant Wolf-Rayet star, belching its outer atmosphere into space.

I took data with a color camera and two different filters, to capture red light from hydrogen and sulfur and blue-green light from oxygen. However, in software I mapped that light to red, blue and green, so this is a false color image.
