Those guys on Louis Theroux's #Manosphere. Frightened little boys desperately clutching onto a pantomime concept of masculinity; lashing out at a world too nuanced for their inferior intellects. Sad. They're like the ad scams & pyramid schemes in 1960s comics. Be a REAL man! Girls! Get rich quick!
The only real difference with this latest incarnation of knuckle-draggers is that they believe Sea Monkeys are real and have infiltrated the government with the goal of turning all white men into Sea Monkeys. And the only way you can detect them is with special x-ray glasses.
@Richard_Littler (Sea Monkeys were so damned disappointing. Someone really needs to figure out giant-sized tardigrades, as those would be much cooler.)

@michaelgemar @Richard_Littler I grew sea monkeys to feed to tropical fish. They’re pretty cool looking if you give them a chance to grow up. They looked much cooler to me as a pre-adolescent boy than the ads (which I saw at that time).

And they *can* be trained, if by “trained” you mean “orient themselves to a moving light source.”

I never noticed that they LOVE attention.

I hadn't considered this comparison...
🤔
You're absolutely right. It's a continuation of the old "kicking sand in the face" game.
@Richard_Littler Oh yes, I am watching this. I like this throwback collage.

I’m a proud “runt” 😁
@Richard_Littler These ads say *a lot* about the mental capacity of the intended audience.
