Alrighty, everything set up for the #GNOME showcase at the hardware bazaar meetup later. A GNOME OS laptop, a #phosh tablet and phone, all connected with each other via #p2panda (via Reflection as a demo), #Nextcloud (calendar, contacts, files) and #Valent/KDE Connect (notifications, clipboard etc.) :)
Oh, and a PineTime smartwatch running Amazfish, connected to the phone!
@pojntfx Which icon is missing on the laptop?
@jdw Beeper! The one app I use that still only ships an AppImage in 2026 and not a Flatpak, it breaks all kinds of things πŸ™ƒ Hope they will just publish a Flatpak soon
@pojntfx can even showcase tablet as wireless external monitor via rdp at this point πŸ˜…
@pojntfx What's the tablet? Was curious about a similar setup but supported hardware seems spotty.

@pojntfx

This is my dream setup:

I want a single OS on all my gadgets for an easy workflow.

@pojntfx I want to test something like this someday! πŸ™‚
@pojntfx
Nice. What kind of devices ar this?
@pojntfx Linux is fantastical
@pojntfx Is the hardware bazaar in Vancouver? I would love to go to one of these.
@pojntfx I’ve never heard of Phosh before, what is it? It looks really cool
@dustinbucher @pojntfx It's a phone-oriented Gnome shell, hence the name

@dustinbucher

It is a graphical interface (and more) primarily targetting (close-to) mainline Linux phones.

Have a look at https://phosh.mobi for more information and/or @phosh for some pretty pictures and such (:

@pojntfx whatΕ› the tablet?
@pojntfx what Smartphone is this?
@pojntfx The desktop with the unhealthy systemd addiction? 😞 All good, no need to get the cops, I'll see myself out.
