I emptied the shelf behind my desk chair where my “current (hobby) projects” resided.

Amassing gear and parts has become cheaper and easier regarding *my* interests. (RC, model building, electronics, tech)

Yet, so many ideas in that shelf got jilted because I regularly fail to reserve the *time* to move them forward. Time to build, and especially to acquire skills. (Mostly programming.)

I don’t have a lack of ideas. I lack relaxation for motivation instead of exhaustion.

@MacLemon nothing wrong with that. Do what’s fun in the moment, and don’t feel guilty about it!

@dch I‘m not feeling guilty, I‘m sad that I am not able to pursue what makes me happy with those projects. Building brings me a lot of joy and relaxation.

I need to better defend my spare time and to find mentors for my programming ideas or at least likewise interested people Because doing these things alone is kinda hard. Certainly harder than it should be.
