Got my new #mechanicalKeyboard kit from #splitkb so now I've got my weekend planed.

Will be a split Colemak keyboard with numbers row, as I do a lot of CAD, and new Gazzew Boba u4 Silent switches. The out most ultimate in keyboarding*** this side of Plover. (We don't speak about Plover, stenography is a religion not a keyboard layout.)

***Until I'm done designing my own. SoonTM.

This post brought to you by tired late Friday brain.

It's a very industrial Apple like look with the brushed aluminium plate and black minimal keycaps... i'm not sold. It's too clean; too "perfect". I'll have to think a bit about how I'll solve this. Otherwise much faster to assemble now that everything is solder less. Next step is to program it and tinker with the layout over a month+ time. #splitkb #mechanicalkeyboard
@aanee yeah. I've definitely appreciated the iteration Thomas has done with his designs to make the experience easier for folks, no soldering, etc, while still retaining some of the DIY/custom aspect to his keebs.
