Jon ShellIf EV batteries are now projected to last beyond the lifespan of the vehicles they're installed in, should we not prepare for that eventuality?
What if, we propose a regulation for car makers that says something like "make your batteries easily removable for the purposes or repair, replacement or recycling"?
How hard could it possible be? Imagine a world with standardized battery mounts. Hey, we have CANBUS, so we *can* do standards in cars.
