ACTION · Re-occupying land for displaced communities in Northern Sumatra

After an illegal eviction in 1968, the houses on the current re-occupation of the Padang Halaban land have been destroyed again in January. 

KontraS North Sumatra has erected a monument for the victims of the massacre and sustains the 150 residents taking refuge in the only building that stands: the mosque.
