I love these old brick advertisement #murals in downtime #Deming #NewMexico. This is one that's currently being freshened up by a local artist, I took the photo several years ago.

While slapping fresh paint on old #art isn't quite "preservation", it's preferable to what happened to another mural in town...

This old Coca-Cola #mural had a similar refresh many years ago. Last year the business owner decided the Coca-Cola company should pay him to keep the mural up. They declined, so the jerk painted over the mural. The last time I looked, what used to be beautiful vintage #art was just a sad empty bulletin board.
