I noticed recently that the founders of Farcaster left Farcaster.
It seems usage of Farcaster has dropped way, way down.
It is too bad — I thought they had some good ideas.
(Some of those ideas we should adopt into the Fediverse.)

@reiver What ideas you think we should adopt?
I remember that someone tried to implement Frames in Fediverse, don't know what's the current status of that work.
Frames is one of the Farcaster ideas that I like.
(Although, just to say it explicitly, there have been previous Frames-like things elsewhere before Frames.)
I liked that aspects of implementing them was very easy for a developer — ex: the usage of HTML <meta/> tags.
I like that you had identity without having to created yet another account. (The pub-key was more or less the identity.)
I liked that the output was "safe" from the usually web attack surface.
Etc.
I liked that the UI showed a person's posts and their boosts in a different place.
I liked their user-experience around groups.
The Cast Actions seemed interesting, too.
I liked that public-private key cryptography was built into the client.
I like that there is a distinction between user controlled keys and delegated keys.
