He doesn't engage with Audre Lorde's actual intention & meaning. No, he brings up a Black woman thinker/writer/activist, assures us he knows how "smart" she was, & then dismisses her words out of hand without even superficial engagement by using a cute little analogy.

I'm not trying to nitpick: that is some real colonizer bullshit.

@artemis I used to follow him & stopped after seeing him do a big media in person interview, unmasked - after he was talking about importance of masking for awhile. I'm not really surprised about this.

@artemis For me, I've noticed that there was/are a lot of mostly white privileged folks on here, who were all saying how important it is to keep masking up & how much they care about public health, how much they care about disabled people & more. Then, I see the same people, who voluntarily stopped masking up when in indoors spaces with total strangers. I then notice the same folks talking like moderates & being wishy-washy with other their political stances too - when the going gets tougher. Those are not trustworthy folks.
