Installed in 1410, Prague’s Astronomical Clock is the oldest in the world still in operation. A 600-year-old masterpiece of medieval engineering that tracks time, stars, and seasons with haunting precision.

Local folklore says the clock's creator, Master Hanuš, was blinded by the city council so he could never replicate his masterpiece. Before dying, he supposedly reached into the gears to stop the clock forever. While historically debunked, the legend remains as haunting as the Orloj itself.

@Adrenochrome @melioristicmarie Every time someone calls the Medieval Period “The Dark Ages” I want to scream, because of things like this (and much more).

Prager Rathausuhr – Wikipedia

@Adrenochrome Yes, I live in #Prague / #praha, I know #Orloj very well, I even recently took guided visit inside the clockwork. It was repaired by skilled watchmakers many times. We are really proud about this historic landmark of our city.

But please do not use any of the "Abandoned" hashtags! This site is right in the middle of Prague touristland, it is the exact opposite of "abandoned"!

@xChaos

Oooooooooooooh! I'm really so sorry.
I use "#Architecture #Design #Style #Nature #Art #Artist #Photo #Photographer #Urbanism #City #Village #Staircases #History #Histoire #Abandoned #AbandonedPlaces" for everything that's related to architecture, style, art, beautiful things in general. I deleted it for you.

@Adrenochrome thank you!

I like abandoned places, but really, there are few tourist capitals of the world, which would probably object too...

Hashtags are great, BTW. they just should carry some significance. Maybe try #ancient #vintage whatever....

@Adrenochrome @xChaos

But why?

You should only use relevant hastags for what you are showing.

Eg you have a picture of a nice chair. It is not a picture related to city, abandoned places, architecture or most of the other hastags you have put.

Another example is a nice picture of a window, but it not related to staircases, like you tagged it as.

Keep the tags relevant, rather than spamming them at everything.

You even tried spamming again, by using them in your reply above.

Else people who, use follow and search those tags will just block or mute you for being annoying.

@SuperMoosie yes, please. All I am saying - please keep the tags relevant. And use them, of course. @Adrenochrome
@Adrenochrome WOW! Yet another reason I want to visit Prague.
