Good morning tooters. It was 19c when I got up this morning & it’s heading to a hot 35c today. Feeling pretty ordinary this morning after an unsettled sleep.
My back is causing me some grief again & I woke in the wee small hours with a sore stomach as well 🤷🏼‍♀️. I haven’t done too much but I am feeling quite uncomfortable - this too shall pass & hopefully sooner rather than later. I have no idea what’s going on with my body lately but I don’t like it. Safe to say I want to go home & be in my own place again - today is the last day here though, back to my own bed tomorrow.
Still I’ve decided not to go swimming this morning but will pack up everything I won’t need for the next 24hrs & take it all up home & water my garden as despite being still very damp the trees & veg garden will need it. If I feel up to it I’ll do some cleaning here rather than in one big job tomorrow.
Not much else on for the day, just taking my time to do what I need to.

Yeah 20 here all night too ... overcast with sun trying to peep out from small black clouds ... BOM says 80% chance of 5mm of rain with a storm warning ...my other says not much chance.

Hoping the BOM is correct so I don't have to water tomorrow ... but did the weekly shop just in case ...
I do like a good storm but not when I'm out in it :)

And told yesterday that house is under offer to Investors and they are happy for me to stay .:)

Only hold up apparently is getting the usual inspections for white ants etc done. Seems there's not only a shortage of builders and tradesmen in the housing industry but inspectors too ...

I’ve just got back from my place. Watered the garden, picked some tomatoes & some peaches. Unpacked & put away the stuff I took home. No more jobs for today.

@feather1952 Hope your niggles leave sooner rather than later Heather. I've been home for about a week now and am just about over the jet lag. I think we're expecting a top temp of 30 degrees today. It won't be long before we're complaining about the cold rather than the heat. The daylight hours are shrinking too. I noticed that it was barely light this morning as we were heading out for the dog park. 😀

Thanks John. Funnily I started to feel a bit better pottering about at home, but the issue is still there.
If I start complaining about the cold I want you to pull me up 😄. I’m glad you through the jet lag.

@feather1952 Feel better soon! It’s low 20’s here; very pleasant walking around town, doing errands. Heavy parcels; didn’t get it all done; bus home and will go back tomorrow
