Any suggestions for reliable, ideally EU or UK based #webhosting for a UK #CommunityBusiness just needing a basic website and emails.. and no we don't want to do #SelfHosting before you all say that's easiest! We were with tsoHost for years who were initially great but that went horribly wrong in 2022 when they got bought out by someone bigger. We moved to Hosting Unlimited but having some issues around domains we have paid for but they haven't told Nominet so our site is suspended and pending deletion... and customer support is non existent. Any suggestions gratefully received.
@stuffjolikes I haven't used them personally (yet) but I keep hearing about @beasts , who do appear to do web hosting.
Hosting - Shell Accounts - UK-based - Mythic Beasts

Shell accounts, web hosting, and email - UK-based.

@beasts @jtonline @stuffjolikes I have a VPS with them and use their DNS too. Great service, clear docs, lovely people. Zero complaints.
@stuffjolikes you can try Czech company Vedos. https://vedos.cz/en/.

@stuffjolikes another vote for @beasts - I’ve been gradually moving domains and email over to them and it’s been trouble free. Their customer support is also spoken of highly, although I haven’t had a need for it (yet)!
@tomh cheers for that Tom.. hope all is well. Long time no see!
@tomh @stuffjolikes @beasts
I second this and I used customer support once I think, it was indeed excellent.
@stuffjolikes
I also use Mythic-beasts.com for my own stuff.
Good service, Support and Price.
Highly recommended.

Give nominet a call.
They are very helpful.
If you change hosts, you will still need access to your domain.
@AboutBentham I have contacted Nominet and they are aware.. our office manager will deal with this next week. This all kicked off while he's on holiday but thankfully we have a bit of time as domain suspension/deletion process takes about 90 days.

@stuffjolikes
That sounds really frustrating — especially with the domain issue, that shouldn’t happen.
