#RadRide at auction today! We've been quite serious about establishing a channel in Australia, so here's our first post for the Aussi cars! And it's a banger, at that: 68 Holden Belmont! Based on the extremely versatile Kingswood platform that saw sister vehicles like the Sandman and Belmont, this enclosed ute is something that simply doesn't exist in the US. Be one of, if not the first to own this restored classic! DM for interest or to bid! #ADM
As a note, this one's located in Tasmania, so there's going to be a bit of a premium on domestic transport to Sydney for export. Unlike #JDM auctions, this is a traditional kind and bidding starts 4/3, so there's time to prepare!
@tikibunnyimports yeah will probably be around a grand to get it off the island and to Sydney. Gotta chuck it on the ferry! What a find though!
@tikibunnyimports Nice! Don’t know much about Holdens, but I assume that’s a standard GM straight 6 under the hood?
@mack505 Yup! Should be a GMH 161 I6.
@tikibunnyimports Shouldn’t be a parts monster then. I’ve gained an appreciation for the ubiquitous GM I6’s after keeping one running for a couple of decades.

@tikibunnyimports Can't have that without this cornerstone of Australian culture:

@tikibunnyimports stunning.
We used to insult people by calling them a Belmont.
Belmont being the basic model.
