History was one of the few academic subjects I avoided as a young person: not because of its lack of importance or interest but that, as taught, it was depressingly full of the aggression of one group of humans against another. Some aggrandised, some sidelined. But there are repercussions and people still fight, with ever more sophisticated weapons but similar mindsets.

Just reading-up on the Balfour Declaration....
