International Women’s Day is a public holiday in Berlin. ❤️

But in 2026 it fell on a Sunday - so most employees didn’t actually benefit from the day off.

In the UK, when a public holiday falls on a weekend, it’s usually moved to the next working day. This year that would have meant Monday.

A small adjustment, but a decent gesture toward employees - ensuring the holiday is actually felt and not just symbolic.
