How do you define best?

I enjoyed Inu-Oh, The Boy and the Heron, and Look Back in recent years, beyond that the various Lupin movies/OVA’s have been solid except the most recent one, the immortal bloodline.

Depending on how deep into anime the watcher is, most of the well known series have had a movie or two in recent years, like Haikyuu’s dumpster battle, Chainsaw Man’s Reze arc, or Dragonball’s Super Heroes.
