Kris HowardduckyPad - Oh no! I noticed this morning that my duckyPad (https://dekunukem.github.io/duckyPad/getting_started.html) was showing an error message to insert an SD card, which was odd because an SD card was already inserted. I saw that there have been firmware updates as well as a new configurator, so I downloaded both of those. Whenever I try to connect to the duckyPad though, I get “Fatal Error:10”. Normal troubleshooting doesn’t seem to be getting me anywhere. My Mac mini did update itself to macOS Sequoia 15.7.4 last night; I wonder if it’s related? I suppose I could go to the official Discord (ugh) to see if anybody else has encountered this, but for now I’m just gonna unplug it and leave it until I have more headspace to deal with it.
I am very happy to report that my #duckyPad has been resuscitated! A kind commenter Allen pointed me to "starting fresh" instructions (https://dekunukem.github.io/duckyPad/starting_fresh.html), which eventually led me to the conclusion that my MicroSD card was borked. After a reformat and restoring backups, I'm back in business. Thanks Allen. 🩷
